2018 Awards

BNS research prize 2018.

Four prizes will be awarded for 500€.

Junior members (less than 35 years old) can apply with a full length paper that should be accepted for publication in an international journal in 2017/2018. The applicant should be first or senior author. The final accepted version of this work should be submitted to the BNS ExCo by email to the BNS administration (Sara.Valckx@uantwerpen.be), together with a motivation letter, a CV and a proof of acceptance in case the work is still in press. The deadline for submission is September 30, 2018.

The winners of the BNS research prizes will be invited to present their work by means of an oral communication during the BNS symposium of December 8, 2018. Subsequently, an abstract of their oral communication will be submitted for publication in Acta Neurologica Belgica.

2016 Awards

  • Acta Neurologica Belgica Prize for the best published article in 2016-2017 (Every two years): 1.000€
  • BNS Research Fellowship for Young Investogators 10.000€ - deadline October 1, 2017
  • BNS travel grants for participation at International Congresses : 4 per year - 500€ in Europe; 800€ outside Europe (if accepted abstract)

2015 Awards

  • Acta neurologica Belgica Prize for the best published article in 2015 (Every two years) : 1.000€
  • BNS Research Fellowship for Young Investogators 10.000€ - deadline October 1, 2015 (Every two years)
  • BNS travel grants for participation at International Congresses : 4 per year - 500€ in Europe; 800€ outside Europe (if accepted abstract)

  • Prize for the best oral presentation at BNS scientific meetings: 2 per year - 750€
